BITS Pilani Launches Startup Accelerator Program for Early-Stage Entrepreneurs

BITS Pilani has announced the launch of a comprehensive startup accelerator program designed to support early-stage entrepreneurs. The initiative, known as "Conquest," aims to nurture young entrepreneurial talent in India and foster a robust startup ecosystem.

Overview of the Conquest Program

The Conquest program is a 7-week startup accelerator that focuses on helping startups achieve product-market fit and customer acquisition. It consists of both online and offline phases, beginning with an online segment from June 10 to July 25, 2024. This is followed by a one-week offline phase from July 29 to August 3, 2024, which includes networking and investment workshops designed to provide startups with valuable insights and opportunities.

Run by a dedicated team of 25 students, the program emphasizes practical learning and offers guidance on navigating the challenges of startup growth. The program concludes with a Demo Day, where startups can showcase their achievements to potential investors and industry experts.

ManagementX and D2CX Foundations

In addition to Conquest, BITS Pilani is also introducing ManagementX, India's first Startup Management Program. This 6-month program provides in-depth training and mentorship for startup founders, focusing on management skills essential for sustaining business growth. The D2CX Foundations is a complementary 6-week program targeting direct-to-consumer (D2C) startups, offering actionable insights and strategies crucial for early-stage companies.

Both programs are designed to equip entrepreneurs with the tools needed to validate their business ideas, build strong founding teams, and develop long-term, scalable business visions. Participants are encouraged to set clear objectives early in the program and engage fully in workshops and events to maximize their learning experience.
