Over the past decade, Cox Enterprises has supported more than 400 startups, contributing significantly to job creation in the Atlanta area. The Cox Cleantech Accelerator, a 12-week program, focuses on nurturing early-stage startups in renewable energy and sustainable transportation. The initiative highlights Atlanta's emergence as a center for cleantech innovation, aiming to transform sustainability practices in the Southeast.
Collaborative Partnerships and Global Reach
The Cox Cleantech Accelerator is a collaborative effort between Cox Enterprises, gener8tor, and the Georgia Cleantech Innovation Hub. The program has successfully attracted startups from around the globe, with its first two cohorts drawing significant international interest. The accelerator's inaugural cohort included five innovative startups: 4Earth, Accelerate Wind, Flux Hybrids, Kara, and Joulea, each selected for their potential impact on fleet electrification, financial compliance, wastewater management, and sustainable buildings.

Participants in the Cox Cleantech Accelerator benefit from mentorship provided by Cox business leaders and access to industry leaders and pilot support.
